chicken cacciatore ALLI recipe

Ingredients
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
12 ounces chicken breast, boneless/skinless, raw
1 cup onions, chopped
1 cup bell pepper, green, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
3 cups spaghetti sauce, reduced sodium
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon oregano, dried
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon basil, dried
1 bay leaf


Preparation

Heat oil in large, non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Brown chicken tenders on both sides and set aside.
In the same skillet sauté the onions for a few minutes; then add the peppers and mushrooms.
Add the rest of the ingredients, including chicken and seasonings. Simmer until the chicken is fully cooked, about 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot.
