Frosty the Snowman snowglobe craft

I had a ton of these storage buckets, so in the spirit of the holidays i decided to have the kids make there own frostys.
Each frosty used

* a felt snowman cut from a sheet of white felt

* a black felt hat

* a felt strip for a scarf

* black seed beads for the buttons/coal on the face & body

* a piece off orange cut from a fuzzy metal strand ( the nme has skipped my mind!)

* a foam or felt handprint, i used green to look like a tree.

* glue & a popsicle stick or tounge dispenser.

BUiLDiNG FROSTY

Frosty himself is built onto the front of the popsicle stick, and the tree handprint covers the stick from behind. This will make a puppet version or a hanging version. I found liquid glue like elmers works best.

TO MAKE A SNOW GLOBE OR STAND UP VERSION

For the stand up version you will also need puddy, 4 cotton balls, a plate, and a dome.

Place the puddy in the middle of your plate, and stick your dried frosty stick in the middle of it. This will help it stand straight while you glue your cotton balls, two in front & two in back. More cotton can be used if desired.

Your dome will then fit over the top to make him look like a snowglobe. in my version the tops were removable, yours could be the same, or you could perminently attach the dome & add glitter or something for effects when shaken.
ENJOY!
